Blown Away . . . .

The contest is to listen to this song played on the piano, and draw. I dont know how many times I played that song over and over again just to think of something. Then, it hit me to draw something like this. I guess this sort of goes along with the story, Follow the Butterfly, (hint hint: butterfly). Well, like in the story, Brian is dead. And I guess this idea came from all those movies with the dead, and you see them in the wind and blowing with it. Originally, only part of Brian would be colored and the other would either be outlined, or just pencil sketched. But, I figured that I better practice more of that. So I just colored it.

So this is Brian, being sucked away with the wind, the tip of his tail, turning into leaves. And a butterfly is forming. The setting is in maybe mid-autumn, hence the orange-red leaves.
I tried my best with the fur being blown, and I think it came out well. The only down fall,,,,, too much empty space.
But hey, I like how this came out, I'm very proud. Check out the song, (p.s. its the link up top) its very soothing. And I think fits with this picture. And I now I can honestly say that drew inspiration from a song like this. yay me.
